my blog is on the move,
Like with "Kung Fu Panda" we have a nice 2d end titles for Madagascar 2. It's in keeping with African theme with tribal looking backgrounds and funny takes on different scenes from the film. And of course, the song you probably can't get out of your head, "I Like to Move It" by Will.I.Am of Black Eyed Peas.
Done by the multi-talented director/animator/motion designer, Jamie Caliri, who also did the amazing end titles to "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events", which is the sole reason I bought the DVD. View it here
Domo-kun at Target for Halloween! He's become their mascot for Halloween this year and most of the items are hard to find there. Either sold out and/or gone as soon as they are put out. It's odd to me that they've decided to take the mascot of NHK (Japan's public broadcast station -- the Japan Broadcasting Corporation) as their mascot, but since I've always liked the funny character I'm glad he's at Target -- if I can get my hands on some of the items. Above are little figurines, non Halloween related, but in the Halloween section of the store.
While I was out from work recuperating from surgery I was able to make to the Chihuly exhibit at the de Young museum. He does amazing things with glass that makes it not even look like glass and he uses vibrant colors that is his signature.
